Mint Chicks
I thought I’d post some of the recent stuff I’ve done for the Mint Chicks, which is my band. First off is the cover for the new album “Screens”. The artwork for the Mint Chicks is mostly by hand. Almost every single thing I’ve done for the Mint Chicks over the last five years or so, including album, EP, and single artwork as well as poster designs and stuff like that, has a physical original. I use anything from marker pens, to watercolour, to indian ink, to duct tape to make the artwork for the Mint Chicks. The reason is mostly because when I started I didn’t like using photoshop. I’m much more into digital now but still prefer to finish something by hand.

I designed some t-shirts with my brother Kody recently. These are going to be on sale online at some point in the near future, if you came to the most recent Mint Chicks shows in New Zealand you might already have one of these.
